My body now old is still called Victoria and is in this precious photo gazing up at Julian who has passed at the young age of 67. Only Josie Smudger and me walk the Earth and I want to thank you Rashmi for these wonderful memories. I absolutely loved Brockenhurst a memory of my pregnancy with my daughter Jas. I will share this with her,

I too remember Brockenhurst with love, and that day in the Iris field was unforgettable, how young we were then, what a blessing to live this life.

Oh, Victoria - this moves me to tears. Dad (Nick) died only a few hours after his 66th birthday, on Christmas Eve 2013. I'm sad that your Julian died at a similar age. Life is precious 🙏💛

What amazing serendipity! Such a beautiful story. I have a yoga friend in West Virginia who, for many years before COVID, brought her community together with wonderful hatha yoga classes, yoga teacher training courses and other activities. Since she had to give up her yoga studios due to COVID restrictions she has offered free online classes, private instruction, yoga retreats, and food for thought with her weekly 'verbal flow' postings on Substack. Christa Mastrangelo Joyce is a beautiful person. A final serendipitous coincidence - her Substack posting today talks about the thread of love in a person's life and contains a link to a poem called 'The Way it Is' by William Stafford about the thread of time that each person follows through their life.

I will look her up, Marguerite, the more tuned in we are to the tapestry of interconnecting threads the more they resonate for us. Thank you

I smiled through the beautiful piece, Josie. Your memories of Nick are so vibrant and how special those synchronicities are! Don't understand how you forgot the visiting donkey. That flu must have been quite bad!

Thanks Aoibhin, it was quite a full on year, but I too am amazed I could forget the donkey!

Your imagery really drew me in, thanks for that, and I love the free thinking hippie times - I related so much as synchronicity is something that has had a deep affect on me too , one of my first articles on substack was about an episode in my life where this was very apparent - its here https://callystarforth.substack.com/p/synchronicity

I love the image of Indra's net and the web of diamonds...captures the sense of simultaneously being the One and an individual expression of the One...

Thanks Michael, Indra’ net is such an inspirational image, reflecting on it dissolves the boundaries of my mind and propels me into infinity. I like ‘web of diamonds’!

How wonderfully expressed! The connectivity that we all experience is ever present and threads through time. Sharing this exquisite example of it provides an inspiration for me to more closely pay attention to all that encompasses my life and the many ways that synchronicity is at play. It helps me to remember the wonder that abounds and that I forget to notice. May I be ever mindful of being protected in Indra's net glistening with the jewels of others. Thank you Josie!
