You write so compellingly about listening to the inner prompts. I find that at 73 I am more able than I used to to be to pay attention to what my true self is suggesting. It is easier to pause and consider, "What is that stirring inside? Oh yes, I can trust that! Let's go with that."

It is also so lovely to hear about how you experience the blessings in your life even as you manage all the bumps that come along the way.

Thank you!

So true, Connie. One of the many bonuses of living in our bodies a fair while, we learn to trust the whispers of wisdom.

Hi. Carrie,

Thanks for reading, I love seeing the first swallow, and watching them swoop and dive Ona summer evening. Glad you felt transported to Wales from your Midwest home.

Thank you for this gorgeous piece of writing. I have bought a few homes in my adult life due to different circumstances (marriage, children, divorce, etc.). Each time, I knew when I stepped into the house if it would be home for me ... except for once. That time, we bought the house for practical reasons (budget, size, it was in the neighbourhood of our children's school, etc.) and it never felt like home. I too, have learned to listen to my inner voice.

Hi Linda, thank you for your lovely words. Happy to know you listen to your inner voice also. It is our intuition isn’t it. And in tuition means our inner teacher. Lovely to meet you.

So beautiful, your journey! Thank you for sharing it! Loved reading it! I felt like I was traveling with you! 💗Home, has been an interesting path in my life, my longest has been 7 years in one place, current home is 6 years, always known as inbetween home, till my sons start uni, but there is a new realisation now, I feel called to a home, where grow into, to plant flowers and tend to land, by the wild sea and pine trees, I know excatly where that place is and I trust that home will come when it comes.

I hope you are able to settle into that place soon, Gunita, it sounds like you know exactly where to grow your plants and extend your roots.

This is gorgeous on the ebb and flows of life and love and home, Josie, and what a beautiful place to have settled after your earlier travels.

I feel very at home in the rural area I'm now in, not far from the sea, not too far from the nearest town. For most of my life "home" was still rooted in my parents' home – my childhood home – but since they died and it was sold, I'm gradually less spiritually tethered to it.

Thanks, Wendy, your home near the sea and town sounds lovely, isn’t it fascinating to reflect on what makes a home for us, the memories and the people we share our lives with. And then I also love new experiences. I find it necessary to travel, to have adventures and see new places, then I appreciate home even more.
